They're amazing, but they're also absolute wankers sometimes eh? Took Daisy out at about half 10 last night for her last walk, and she started chewing something in the grass. Nothing unusual there since she's a fucking gannet, but when I got up to her I realised it was a bone from a spare rib or something she was eating. I try to get my finger behind it and pry it out, but as soon as I go near her she bites the bone in two, drops one half and swallows the other.

She's still making chewing motions but her mouth is empty, then she starts looking like she's going to throw up; her stomach is doing that wretching thing, but nothing. Then she starts to make these horrible coughing, choking noises every 5 seconds or so, and starts scratching at her mouth. I try to get her to walk a bit, as we're basically in some guy's front green, but she just lies down and paws her mouth again. She starts looking at me and whining between coughs.

I'm shitting it at this point, thinking my dug is going to choke in front of me, so I pick her up at run home so the Mrs can help and I can get a better light. I put her down to the ground in the lift since she's panting like fuck, and almost immediately she coughs up this big chunk of bone.

"Thank fuck" I'm thinking as I go to just stand on the bone til we get to our floor. But before I can do that she eats the bone again, chews it a bit into more pieces, coughs it up again and eats it. We get home and she has the audacity to bark at me for a treat.

You need to do some forensics on that spare rib so that you might locate the original takeaway. They must do absolutely superb ribs if she's willing to risk it again after nearly dying.

Wee cracker, i used to take my exes dug overnight once a week but she's put the brakes on it, unbelievable how much I miss her(the dug for clarification!) the dug has an Instagram page so I get to see pics of her but I'm raging that she's always on a sofa or bed instead of running around daft like she should be
