Raikkonen runs over one of his mechanics.
You'd think he'd check on him to make sure he's ok.

Looked a bad one too on the reply. Leg snapped
In fairness to Raikonnen the boy was getting first aid when he was walking back to the garage.

Broken shin bone and fibula. Looked a real nasty one. Not Kim's fault at all but his reaction post race compared to Seb's are worlds apart. He really is the ice man.
Lewis would have made the move on Vettel if that had been him instead of Bottas. Seems a nice enough guy and by no means a bad driver but not good enough for me for Mercedes. Not got the racing edge. Would like to see Ricciardo partnering Lewis next season I think

Very decent race. First ten laps were great. Had to wait a while for the strategy to play out, it's a shame we didn't get a few more laps of Bottas and Vettel fighting it out. Agree with Lynsey – Hamilton would've got in Vettel's DRS much earlier and would've passed him.
Decent result for Gasly and Toro Rosso. Alonso is also 4th in the championship Red Bull's could've been the fastest car out there today and they blew it. Verstappen blaming Hamilton when it was he who cut him off was predictable. The fastest driver out there but still needs to learn from his mistakes. Bottas is giving off a Rubens Barrichello/Eddie Irvine vibe which is not good enough for Mercedes. I differ in that I think he could eventually come good and win a championship but currently he's not at the level of Hamilton and Vettel and doesn't have their experience in these moments to rely upon either.

I get what you are saying about the experience Vettel and Hamilton have but he is just lacking something for me. Verstappen has a lot less experience than Bottas bit will win a Championship before him I reckon. Verstappen is young and a bit immature at times, like trying to blame Lewis for that collision but he is also great entertainment. Oh and agree that was a brilliant result for Gasly and Toro Rosso, maybe questions need to be asked at McLaren as to how the Honda engine went so wrong for them clearly can't all have been Honda's fault. Shaping up to be an exciting season though!

I always feel like Scott is trolling when he talks seriously about anything, particularly sport.

The thing about Bottas is that he was getting these results in the much weaker car of Williams in previous years. I think he still needs time to settle into the team. I might be making this clunky comparison because they are both Finns, but it took Mika Hakkinen a while to bed into the McLaren, but he was eventually able to challenge Schumacher. You could make that argument to an extent with Rosberg too, who took a while to match the pace of Hamilton, but just about got there in the end.

Red Bulls crash into each other.
Be interesting to hear from both drivers after that.

Don't really follow F1 but it was on the screen next to the football at the pub, looked like absolute scenes today
The carnage when the safety car went back in

Bottas must be gutted. Vettel throws it away.
Hamilton is so lucky.

Just watching the race the now. Paul DiResta on commentary
Where's Bundle? Binned for being a creep? Never liked him. DiResta is a good guy. Sure he's an Edinburgh guy too. Used to sometimes work-out at Ratho This track looks shite btw

Aw aye meant to mention, Verstappen is a wee fanny eh? Fine being aggressive but not to that level with a teammate. He should have let Riccairdo past as glhe was faster. All he done was hold him back and let the front 4 get loose
So shan for Bottas Oh and Grosjean claiming the boy clipped him when he just straight up drove into a wall under a safety car Fanny Hamilton is a wee dick btw

Hamilton is a wee prick btw.
Coulthard is an erse.
