Okay - so started getting into Fallout 4, and it is pretty astonishing, couple of questions from the early stage:

1. How do you "put away" your gun?  I don't want to be pelting around the landscape looking like some manic CoD player all the time
2. Got the armour and the mini-gun, but keep getting killed by the 1st deathstalker/monster thing - even doing the "remote" shooting, I still couldn't kill it - any tips to muller it?

Run back inside the museum every time it gets too close and heal/reload.

Crouch when you go back out there and get the sneak bonus when you attack it, repeat until it`s dead.

I just stood inside the doorway of one of the ruined buildings on the corner, thing couldn't get inside. Was down to leaping out and knifing it by the end

That's how I did it as well, got about 10 bullets left but I made sure it was dead

Can see CoD getting less than a week of my time. Absolutely cluttered with shan gadgets that make the game incredibly frustrating, literally getting done in from all angles by flying drones, rolling bombs, invisible cunts. Needs a bare bones mode with guns only.

Doesn't justify your shan choice of game Sterling. Just a sad indictment of what the CoD franchise has become. I'd still rather be playing against real people than sat cheesing that I beat a computer that was designed to be beat.

Been playing Halo 5 for the last couple of days. Have never played any of the series before but have really enjoyed it.

FIFA 16 is doing my head in - was so looking forward to playing it on the X Box one but the passing is so erratic. Some of the fouls given as well - fucking brutal

Advanced warfare or whatever the last one was exactly like that to.

Iirc there was a mode that disabled the jet pack but you still had shite loads of gadgets.

I'd be all about an updated modern warfare/modern warfare 2 game.

Yeah I've never played a BLOPS or the Advanced Warfare game. It's just got the point of "how many gizmos can we ram into this". With Black ops 3 you've now got "specialists" with fucking time travel and shit in them. That's not a war game.

I've heard Infinity Wards next game might be a remake of MW2. I'd be very, very happy with that.

Modern Warfare 2 was the last one I was into.

Had a really good balance between gun play and the kill streaks. There's just too much shit going on in the new ones.

MW2 was absolutely cracking. Perfect balance. When you got a killstreak you felt you earned it, and even then it was just your standard UAVs, Gunners and predators. With this new one it's like guns are irrelevant. Cunts too busy cutting about with robots and drones and electric guns and shit. I really should've looked into that before buying it, I thought Advanced Warfare was a one off.

Pretty much every year they come out with the whole "new modern warfare" If you're looking for that sort of game I'd recommend Battlefield Hardline. I actually haven't played the full game but I played loads of the beta and it was class. Most of the maps are a lot smaller than BF4 and it plays more like cod than BF.

Had a wee look, looks pretty cartoony which isn't my bag, but if it's stripped down and small maps I might have to check it out. The heist aspect looks pretty cool as well.
