It's obviously system updates to allow me to run new games, as I said it'll be the main ones required to play the particular game. I don't pay for Xbox live or a router because I don't play it very often and now it's an old machine there is zero point. It's hardly a significant expense ffs

Fallout 4 will be released on November 10th

In the meantime I`ve made a few purchases on the sale without breaking fifteen quid, I`m sticking to the flash and daily sales for the best savings. Can`t argue with 70-90% discounts, I got the Tomb Raider reboot for $2.99 (for some reason my Steam Wallet is in dollars). Also acquired Valiant Hearts: The Great War, an interesting puzzler set during the first world war and Wolfenstein: The New Order. I haven`t got that far in either but the opening levels have been promising.

Probably me just being stupid, but how do you retrospectively make a console backwards-compatible? Never really paid much attention to this generation of console skrublords, you see.

Looks like a digital library, so probably with a download. I've not looked at it at all, would be surprised if they let you actually use your old games, but if they do, maybe they just check the disk to see if it's right which lets you download the digital copy?

I read that you have to just have a physical copy of the disc and then that'll give you the digital download link once you put it in your console.

Did anyone see the Microsoft Hololens (sp?) demonstration with Minecraft? Unbelievable, we're living in the future.

It's ridiculously impressive but i can't imagine it'll look that good with the actual lens on.
