Brother "reliably informs" me that if you stay where you are until the bad guy comes back at the start of Far Cry 4 instead of trying to escape you can finish the game in five minutes.
True?

Sounds like more fun than the actual game.
Quite cool that, one of these urban legends that crops up over and over again about games.

Any of you Fallout addicts played Rage? I've been playing it the last few days and finding it quite boring tbh. Really enjoyed it at first but there isn't much variety in the missions - mission starts with a generic "we need you to collect X item" blurb, go to location on map, walk through the building (which always has far too many rooms to trudge through), lots and lots of enemies run at you and you shoot them, collect item you went for, return to boss, get another identical mission. It's a great setting and had potential, also got really good reviews so I'm a bit disappointed by it.

Guy at work was telling me about this

Sitting playing the Resident Evil remake. Scaring the shit out of myself with the same game 19 years later.

Anyone playing Rocket League? Football with rocket-powered wee cars and an oversized ball. Really chaotic and fun.

Traded in the Witcher and FIFA and picked up Elder Scrolls Online. Gave me a free £5 deposit on Fallout 4 for some reason.

Aye it's brilliant. I've been doing loads of faffing about and not working through the main story that much as well, which has been a good way of doing it. The best thing about this ultimate edition or whatever they're calling it, is that I think almost all of the patches of the original game are included on the discs, so I've not had the usual Bethesda issues with falling through mountains etc.
It's only a stop gap for Fallout though

If it's even half as good as New Vegas, I'll basically let it take over my life for a month
