How exactly do you drain the boiler Curra? From one of the valves at the boiler? 

My boilers losing pressure most days and I think I can hear a slow drip.

Turn the boiler off. Shut off everything and drain down. There should be a wee brass fitting outside low down which you can open using a radiator key. It can take a wee while to drain down mind.
