Doesn't Turkey take the league prize money and split it down into X amount for a win, X amount for a draw and X amount for a loss and pay it out on a monthly basis? In the same way as the champions league does.
I think that's a good way of insuring there is no meaningless games towards the end of the season.
The amount they'd be paying out would be so small it'd probably end up being meaningless anyway.
The NFL have a good system with keeping things interesting i.e different teams always competing. It'd be extremely difficult to do in Scottish Football though.

A good start would be ensuring that more teams get their games shown on TV.
What proportion of games shown feature the old firm? I know that's the TV companies & each team gets home games shown - but it is always X versus Celtic
