Garrucio is fine in a back 5 with an actual winger in front of him (ie. Mulraney) instead of someone like Djoum who would keep coming inside.

Not that it matters as he'll probably only pop up out of the blue for one more game this season, then back out the entire squad.

He's been a better player than Mitchell this season, which isn't saying much I suppose. He should be our starting LB although evidently somethings gone on behind the scenes.

Anyway I'd expect Godinho to step in now if he's back to full fitness. Although leaves us with just Brandon for Livi and Killie away with no back up.

Exact same knee injury as he got last year. That's not a good sign for him.

He seems to be pretty fragile which isn't going to augur well in the English Championship where he is likely headed next season.

I just find him so limited. He should be at a side like St Mirren. Mitchell will have ten times the career he does anyway.

Garrucio to me is just your no thrills full back who doesn't do anything spectacular but he doesn't tend to fuck up either, he will be absolutely fine, put it this way, if we were playing Hibs, Celtic, Rangers etc I'd feel safer with Garrucio at LB than Mitchell.

Levein's said Mulraney and Bobby Burns are his likely replacements, not even a mention for Garuccio. Writing on the wall for him it would seem. I don't mind him tbh, he's solid enough.

I wouldn't take Levein's words about Mulraney and Burns at face value. Garuccio will probably have a part to play.

Maybe it's a smokescreen for Lewis Moore to come back into the starting XI out of nowhere
