This place(AP) has went fucking doolally the last couple of days. We all realise what state we are in and how much fight it's going to include staying up. Stendel genuinely has walked into the most toxic cliquey Hearts side I have ever seen. I know from horses mouths just the shit he is up against on a daily basis.

He has a few black marks against his name however such as not re-jigging the formation slightly and random cameos for the young pups(even though he has said he is picking the best performers in training) Poppadom-gate is another but his hands were tied with that to an extent.

It's like half of you have never seen a toxic club before, man, which is wild given our proximity to Hibernian football club As a sector leading educator and at least the 5th best teacher on here (behind the 3 actual teachers and Acey because he wrote a blog), even the best kids can run amok and be lazy wee shits if they're allowed to, and it's fucking hard to bring them back when they have a negative attitude instilled within them. Possible, but hard and it does take time. AP, if you need a wee bit of help with your toxic post quality, I think I can turn things around for you mate

Toxic clubs aren't that much different from a classroom gone to the dogs, I don't think - how many times have good players gone to a club with a bad culture around it and been a disgrace? Glenn Whelan didn't happen that long ago Takes time and a lot of energy to change things, and I'm backing Stendel to do it - I've seen enough signs that he has it in him and is doing the work. Doesn't absolve him of responsibility when things go wrong and it won't make him blameless if we go down - but it does give him a far harder job than some are giving credit for here. He could have been more pragmatic, but I'm not sure if that achieves the long term culture change we badly need
