I really want the guy to do well, but it is a bold, bold strategy to take over the side bottom of the league and deciding that the way out is to play All Out Attack in every game.

His tactics and selections are questionable, but the problem is far deeper than the manager sadly. Levein was allowed to do far too much damage. I fear we'd be in this position regardless of who we appointed tbh.

Totally agree with that. It's not entirely his fault and what Levein has done runs right to the core. He has some awful awful players at his disposal with an attitude that absolutely stinks. I don't believe there's not another manager out there who could be getting results though. The football might not be pretty but plenty of others could have set up a side that don't leak as many goals as we are just now.

In the filing cabinet marked “people to blameâ€, he is pretty near the bottom, but he doesn't seem to be learning his lessons and if we get relegated leaking 2 and 3 goals a game, then a large chunk of it is on him. Incredible that he's looked at that weather, looked at the situation and decided that gung ho is the way to do it today.
The decline started last year. Stendel will just be the night watchman when we go down. Looking increasingly likely he just can't get the dross he has been left with to perform as required. Probably not the right guy for the job based on his footballing philosophy but trying his best with some appalling players.

We all know that Levein has put us in a shite position, but there's only so long Stendel can hide behind that. I've seen very little if anything to suggest he's the right man for the job tbh.

The decline started a lot longer ago than that. Nothing you've said is untrue, but the guy needs to be pragmatic - grind out results, defend for our lives when required and be hard to beat. He's got us playing high, high risk football in a Scottish winter.
