He only had to win a couple more games against shite teams and we wouldn't be in this mess. Levein is responsible for our relegation but Stendel could have saved us if he was any good. He didn't.

His record wasn't great but when you look at what he inherited and you see the deep underlying issue around the club he was ip against it. Kash and HTG have summed it up well.
He only just got his coaching team together, we played some decent stuff, defending was absolutely chronic but the keeper situation certainly aided that. Considering that Barnsley fans were gutted he left despite not winning in 10 games tells a story. He had his hands tied in that second season there after selling the spine of his team. I think he should get a clean slate personally.

Everything at hertz has been shite since the day doctor Levein and phoodle handed hibs the big cup on a silver platter.
The clubs been tailspinning since 2016.

The useless wee cunt was taken to the dry cleaners by Tommy Wright, Jimbo Goodwin and Brian Rice.

I'd worry about him in the Championship tbh.
Struggles mainly against the cloggers at the bottom who will sit in and play the ball over the top. That is every single team in this pub league. Won't know the type of player required to grind out results and will still have this fantasy style of play that he will struggle to convey to the even poorer players we will end up with. Not a good mix.

Conditions at the club are the bigger problem here, I don't care if he stays or goes but he's worked with hands tied behind his back and with those two jokers “working†in the background during a pivotal transfer window dirtying the waters.
Could he have done better, probably, but I think he was destined for failure as was any other manager who came in and still had Levein's fingerprints all over the place. Also quite frankly the players are fucking impostors to a man, turn up and pump Hibs and Rangers twice and continue to call it in for any other games. Cunts the lot of them. How do you go about rebooting a football club from the ground up because that's what needs to happen.

I don't think Stendel should be here next season either no matter which league we are in.
It seems as though the fans are clamouring for Robbo and will likely get their way.

Stendel would win Hearts the Championship easily. Having said that I expect whoever is in charge to win the Championship easily. Regardless of the utter shitshow we have become and even if there are still things going on behind the scenes we are a country mile ahead of every team that we will be up against. The league is dire, none of the others will be good enough not to continually cut each other's throats and the league will be won long before May.
In many ways Stendel or a new ambitious head coach can actually implement and work on building something for our return to the Premiership as there should be little pressure most weeks. The Championship we won a few years back was night and day ahead of this one.

There seems to be a resignation that he was up against it to achieve more points than Hamilton in a 6 month period

See when it comes to playing attractive football, I'd be really interested to see what Robbo+McCann could achieve in the championship.
I think we would play some very nice stuff.

You only need look at the Championship table to see how bad the teams below Utd actually are.
Dundee in 3rd have won a grand total of 11 games out of 27 whilst ICT have lost 10 out of 27. There is nobody in that league who will get close to Hearts next year regardless of who the Head Coach is. What we should be doing is rebuilding something that is ready for the Premiership.

How in fucks name we've managed to find ourselves back in the Championship 6 years after a reboot that shook off almost £30M of debt, fans raising over £10M and over £7M of benefactor contributions! It's a clusterfuck of monolithic proportions

Rubbish for a Hearts squad but half the players in the other relegation fodders squads won't be even be playing full time football in a couple of years time. Honestly a joke that we were adrift at the bottom when the season finished. Hopeless.

Possibly yep though I still believe we would have got out of it with 6 games against the bottom teams but that's got nothing to do with the standard of the Championship. As you say St Mirren and Hamilton fight tooth and nail, there is nobody in the Championship that can do that week in week out and keep up with the points we will put on the board, just look at this seasons table.

Hendricks, your attitude towards the championship is the exact same mentality that got us relegated. i.e. we can appoint whoever we like as we are too good to go down. Your advice is - it doesn't matter who we appoint - we are too good not to go up.

We are too good not to go up. We're Hearts, the third biggest team in Scotland that's been ruined by a granny and her toy boy.
