The in laws hate me and I don't much like them, however Christmas time they always chuck an envelope my way. Normally Ã‚£100. Today I go up there after spending my lunch break last week getting them tickets for some Johnny Cash tribute night at the queens hall to be handed a top from next and some fucking towels. Seething is not the word. What the fuck do I want with towels? Now I've fell out with the wife and I'm on the sofa. Fuck Christmas.

Always meet my old man in the Greys Mill after I've got through the day with my mum, sister etc. It was fucking shut.

Ended up in Bensons, with a Downs Sydrome DJ, a dozen strong young team comprised solely of jobby catchers and cheap aftershave, and several crosseyed bald men who may or may not have "wanted sum".

I fucking hate Christmas.

Mine wasn't too bad. Managed to offend my mum and my niece though.

Sister to me: He (my laddie) really loves that Mickey Mouse toy

Me: I know it's just a cheap thing we chucked in last minute.

Mum: Eh I bought him that (seething)

Also when I found out my niece was going to visit Auschwitz next year I told her to make sure her room was en-suite because the queues to the showers could be a killer.
