Folk have been jumping on to the astro at Pinkie the last 2 weeks but I'm not doing it. Seems daft.

The Windsor have been back for tat least wo weeks; next monday will be our third session but under conditions of course. Basically max of ten kids with two-coach groups.  Various age groups on both 3G and grass.  We're not fdoing much tbh, basic ball between two warm up s then straight into 5-asides games.  Just get them paying again. Everybody has been well up for it and having fun.

I did indeed. Had a right good team and the ages around us but it's night and day with the organisation and coaching now.

Last year the u16 team won their Scottish cup; saw their s/f win over Dyce at Olivebank, then their final win at whereever Airdrie play now, is it the excelsior (vs Tynecastle). Both hugely entertaining games, especially the final with injury time comeback win. Club took two double deckers through to the final. Smashed a few pints before at the Ravelston. Thn back to the pub to welcome the team off the bus. Great day tbqh.

Yeah, much better. Boy I ken has got his wee lad in there now and they put so much time and effort into it for free. Lad that stays near me was in the street doing drills about a month ago with the coach on facetime

Aye we've had some good games against them to date. Last one we were leading 4-2 at HT. Think they were a bit shocked really. Came out and beat us 7-4 in the end but think that early initiative was ceded by our coach at the time, putting subs on after the half instead of holding them at bay initially after the restart with the stronger players. We did beat their 2nd string tho down at Ainsley Park.

Doesn't surprise me, they got a great support base of vounteers. Was actually a bit shocked at the amount of fitness my daughter gets put through, and training is very well organised and really quite serious. Not sure she'll cope again when she starts back next week. In fact I know she'll be dreading it.


Anyway, glad the football is getting back towards normal. But still about 9 weeks until the Hearts KO.
