I'd like to hear some honest information about the state of the NHS. The wife was sitting in a waiting room for two hours while in active labour (and gave birth about an hour after being moved finally) the other month. It was really bad. Anyway while always wary of anecdotal stuff like this, it was a ridiculous state of affairs, and I think illustrates the state of things in the NHS right now. A mix of brexit staffing issues, cuts, and covid all coming together.
If this wave leads to large numbers needing in patient treatment then I can imagine it will be very close to an outright disaster.
