Hate to use Hibs as a yardstick. But their CMF 3 of McGeogh, McGinn and Allan at its peak was decent.

Could Beningime, Devlin and Woodburn be our modern version? Dunno what Devlin will be like tbf but seems rated. Gotta also hope McEneff shows this year why Joe has been tracking him for years.

Our CMF has been Halliday, Irving, Lee and a host of other mediocrity. Glad to see a major upgrade happening.

Hate to be the cheery optimist as usual. But got a good feeling about Woodburn. So two footed and an obvious baller cult hero type.

Yeah. Aussie ball winner. High energy. Good stats, but Aussie A league. Talk of a Kante type player. Obviously not that standard, just in type. Him and Beni should be complimented with attacking flair and pace while they keep things tight.

McGeogh played 80 odd games for them in 4 years. I'd think a fair few were from the bench, and he currently can't get off the bench for Aberdeen.. I'll tell you right now he's shite.

McGinn good player.

Scott Allan is mediocre at best. Decent player the season we skooshed the championship, helped by the Scottish media inflating any hibs player. (Christ Walker did more but less reverse passes versus posties) his pancreas will fuck him.

Halliday is a better all round footballer than any of them, hated for supporting the huns.

Irving, slow but not effectively used.

Lee pish, but in a slower league a like league 1 he would have and likely did look better than McGeogh.

Halliday is an NPC player who people like to pretend is either really good or really bad because his personality makes him visible. Not the kind of player we should aspire to have but, in practice, the kind of player that usually makes up most of our squad.
