Not sure if Neilson thought he couldn't be trusted not to be sent off again if we were going to spend 90 minutes chasing shadows? Agree it was a mad decision to leave him out.

Aye it would, he'd have gave us energy in midfield and kicked others in to action, that baldy cunt wouldn't have had the easiest night of his career if devlin was playing. Absolute shite decision from neilson, called it before kick off, play all the slugs who can't get near anyone or get within a yard of second balls.

Things happen. He stamped on a boy and got sent off so what, not like he's going to do it every week.

Rather him than Grant constantly backing off to the edge of our box. No chance would Devlin have given Amrabat as much time and space on the ball.

I was thinking that last night. Surely our midfield standing that far off wasn't the tactics. Kingsley Neilson halliday and Gordon were screaming for them to push out for most of that first half.

Did you not see us getting absolutely rag dolled in midfield on Saturday?

The idea that Devlin changes anything against that midfield is comical. He couldn't get near the midfield v Istanbul. It's not a dig on him, they are just all terrible players.

In the time Devlin was on he set Bumfreys through on goal by robbing one of their midfielders. Tony Hmm

I'd definitely have started Devlin last night, especially when we're constantly banging the drum about fatigue and lots of games in quick succession.

Why not play the guy who's banned for Sunday from the start in midweek? Jezza

Gives more energy and movement than anyone else in the middle of the park just now.

And while we're discussing team selection, let's give Atkinson a run at right back, Smith is certainly not the answer in a back three and is even struggling in a 4 right now.

If that's true (it's not) no wonder we are a fucking awful team.

Tbf who you picking as our most stand out performer so far? Eek

Probably Gordon as usual, but if our keeper is POTY so far then that's still an indication of being in trouble. McKay was class for the first 3 or 4 games then went downhill.

It's clearly Gordon.

None of the outfield players deserve a mention.
