The weird thing is when I speak to people who go to Ibrox & Parkhead they’re saying the same thing.

Winning games without looking convincing, looking like they could lose a goal at any time. Was speaking to a mate last night who was at Ibrox who said that the sheep could’ve made it interesting if they’d took their chances.

He’s still not convinced by Naderi or Chermitti and said that he’s worried about their away form.

We just need to make sure we win at Livingston, as I’m expecting Rangers to beat Dundee United on the Saturday and go top on goal difference.

I’ve got to the point that I’m trying to convince myself we will be better against the teams that will try to be more balanced in how they approach games against us.

We have a real problem if these toothless performances continue into the split Eek

We’re not shite, we’ve just been doing what we can to keep winning without huge players for us. I’m really expecting a different Hearts going into the split with our best players fit. We started yesterday without 3 of our best players.

We have always struggled against teams that sit back and let us play in front of them. Mcinnes’ ultra cautious approach to selection isn’t helping as it’s obvious to see we are struggling to break teams down.

We probably have more to our attacking game when we are against aggressive sides but if we want to be title challengers year on year we need to start enjoying being the favourites and playing on the front foot.

Not pissing about with CBs playing at RB and RM.

The 15-20 mins when Shanks and Devlin were on the park together gives me hope we can improve. They both drive the team forward and bring others into the play so much better than Kabore or Mags (as much as I like him).

No one can underestimate the difference that having Shanks in that team makes, as soon as he came on Kyzi moved forward about 10 yards and we had someone we could rely on up top.

Going to Livingston we’ll have the majority of our injured players back and will be going into the game with a point to prove.

By the time the Motherwell game comes around, we’ll be flying again, got to keep the faith.

I don’t think you can overlook the number of injuries.

Halkett, Findlay, Milne, Kingsley, Beni, Devlin, Shanks, Magnussen and Ageu is a massive number considering g our squad depth.

Not only that but the first 7 on that list are lads who properly know the Scottish game which is crucial at this stage of the season. You can’t simply expect Chesny or Mato to be able to come in and make a like for like difference.

One thing you’d have to be critical of in terms of recruitment is bringing in players with no experience of the Scottish game in January. For whatever reason Mato and Chesnokov haven’t had huge impacts.

Shankland dropping off the fun attracts players to him, that creates masses of space for kyzi and Braga.

Just got to get through this livi game. We could be doing with Celtic dropping more points and being out of it. They will then have one game left in their season in the league. Beating the Huns at parkhead and letting us have 3 points when we rock up there.
