Just so focused on Scotland's first game, not heard any media coverage on the opener. Am I the only one?

Mexico vs South Africa isn’t likely to garner a mass of hysteria here to be fair.

South Korea v Czech Republic at 3am could be a struggle. It starts properly on Saturday night and there's a decent run of games from there.

Is that normal for there to be other games same day of the opener?

I scouted the group stage matches and there’s not a lot that stands out. Outside the Scotland bias I think we might have the most interesting group, Brazil Morocco should be a good tie.

Na but think because of the expanded number of teams they've had to fit more games in. Looking forward to watching the Korea game tomorrow when I should be working and picking my new hero for winning my sweepstake money Piggy

Some of the games and groups you've got are absolutely rancid, not actually too fussed about anything bar Scotland games in the early stages.

Will watch games if the opportunity is there buy won't be going out my way to watch most of it.

The shite games on paper are sometimes the best ones in the groups at the world cup, total lottery sometimes. I'm all for it

Likewise had no idea it started tonight. Obviously we’re on Saturday so knew it must be before then but I assumed it would be Friday night.

Was in Spain for the last week and didn’t see a single thing about the World Cup there either.

What's with the Ecuador shouts? Who have they got outside the classic Tourney marksman Enner Valencia.

They've got a pretty tough group anaw I think.
