What pisses me off about their trident waffle is that the claim to be speaking for Scotland when they say they don't want it renewed. 

All by two MPs and a stonking majority at holyrood means they get to say stuff like 'speaking for scotland'. It's as clear a mandate as you'll see.

Don't know how I would feel about some of the DR Congos I come across in the Police carrying firearms...I see the point though that should a Paris style attack happen in Scotland the first units on the scene wouldn't be able to do much other than stand and watch.

Without wanting to defend the Nats, Scottish Labour's stance on Trident is not to renew it so that's the 2 main political parties in the country not wanting it so it's hardly that big a statement to say they speak for the country.
