The anti-English bigotry in this country has been normalised and is a disgrace.

Also - Scottish government case rejected. No legal requirement for legislative consent.

Monumental waste of money and extremely risky. If Parliment voted against there will be riots.

I might get s free telly.

It's about how we leave it, not whether we leave it that will be debated in parliament. Rightly so, May's plans were concerning to say the least.

That doesn't make sense;

MP's debate for two weeks and agree we want  to remain in the single market and be able to retain control of our borders. We trigger article 50 and begin negotiations with the EU. The EU tell us to fuck off, then what?

Back to more debating live in Parliament where our counterparts in Europe can stick BBC Parliament on and watch? The process is far too fluid to be conducted in such a way.

Can't wait to see Corbyn rally his troops and make a massive impact on the outcome now.

Before anyone soils themselves May has had a shocker here and parliament should have been told.

I've just watched the exchange. He said 'to all the unilateralists opposite', referring to the Labour benches as well.

And as aside, the Article 50 decision today referred to all the Devolved Parliaments not getting a say, not just Holyrood.

He released a statement saying they'll back the Bill to invoke Article 50. Is that the type of rallying you were thinking of?

Lib Dems say they'll oppose Article 50 legislation unless final Brexit deal is put to public vote.

SNP say they will table 50 serious amendments (expect about 45 of them to be nonsense)

Labour say they won't frustrate triggering of Article 50 but will seek meaningful vote on final Brexit deal

I agree with Labours stance - as long as they actually push for amendments.
