What are people's thoughts on the BDS movement?

I saw this earlier, and find the language a bit disturbing though I do agree with some of the aims. "People of good conscience."

I'm also wondering how Arsenal, for instance, "fund the massacre there".

That 'red banned circle' around the star of David is a bit as well.

Could, if run properly, be a force for good. Is in fact a force for unhinged antisemitism. 'The Zionist entity'? You know which country refers to Israel as that? Iran.

Let's face it - anyone of us (with the exception of maybe me) would look equally ridiculous dancing stone cold sober as the only white person in a massive group of black people.

Not sure if saying this is racist but as a general rule - Black people have great rhythm & can dance. White people, not so much

That post isn't even correct as she isn't buying it. The attempted point is pish anyway, you can be pro immigration and not have to house hundreds yourself.

A more cynical view would be that many of the most high profile pro immigration politicians and celebs choose to live and raise children in areas which are almost exclusively white. Areas which take a tiny fraction of the migrants places like Hartlepool, Wakefield or Cowdenbeath might.

As ever it's easier to have a positive opinion on that when you never have and never will be negatively affected.

Nah the point of that meme is that Sturgeon said she'd take in immigrants/asylum seekers into her home at some stage last year.

I agree with your wider point though - it's very easy to look down your nose at people who are sceptical about immigration or even against it when you live in an area that has never suffered any negative impact because of it.
