I'm just wondering what could happen if this thing hits the US.

You have a healthcare "system" where most will do just about anything not to use because of the cost, draconian labour laws which make taking a sick day a capital offence, and an administration so ill-equipped to deal with a crisis of that magnitude. So people with extremely limited access to healthcare and who can't afford to stay home from work - what could possibly go wrong?


Part but also kind of if it hits before November and wipes out a shit load of boomers.

It's not a case of "If", it's a case of when and how bad. The Italian outbreak seems to have started from one person returning from China.

I used to work with a guy from Montreal who told me that you're only entitled to two weeks holiday a year over there.

Too many people make too much money out of the Health Service and general debt over there for there to be any chance for Sanders to win without a major fight. Think the next in line for Sanders will be in a better position to win next time round to implement the changes they really need to make.
