If Trump wins the nomination, there is no way he wins the election imo
Hopefully

If you put them next to each other without knowing their ages, there's no way you'd think there was only six years between them. Think that's what Jimmy was getting at. Seems crazy that three of the front-runners would be in their 70s for the majority of their term tbh.

But it's not as though they're somehow unattainable. It's up to enough people to vote for both Sanders and a Democratic Congress. The people still have the power; but old habits and world weary cynicism die hard, sadly. Many of Trump's positions are those of a mainstream Democrat. I don't see how he's a conservative at all. That's why he did so well in NH, one of the most liberal states in the Union. It's his handful of bonkers positions which everyone's been so alarmed by though. And that alarm means that, while he could certainly win the nomination (though I narrowly favour Rubio for that), he can't possibly win the Presidency. There'd be a Republican meltdown across the board in November if either he or Cruz are the standard-bearer. I'm keeping everything crossed for Sanders-Trump - because not only does Sanders win that, but the whirlwind should drag the whole of US politics dramatically leftwards. If it's Sanders-Rubio though, Rubio wins I think. Rubio-Clinton? Too close to call - but boy oh boy is she an unimpressive candidate, and boy oh boy has she made a mess of this so far. Unlike Sanders. I defy anyone to watch this ad and not feel a) deeply moved; and b) pure, utter rage.

The pope has a divine right from god to question people's faith.
It's basically his job, tbh.
