Nah man drugs and that ain't for me normally just a couple of pints in the kitchen after work, or a joint out the back on the morning shift. (Ooooh, hardcore). Folk are right about the coffee though. On a 10-2 shift I'll generally drink about 5 mugs, then it's onto the Irn Bru and Lidl energy drink for the 5-10 shift. Some of the other chefs at work take every other drug possible - except heroin - and are quite happy to tell folk too.
College tutor who was sous chef at Claridges told us some interesting stories though, doing lines of coke in the fridge, doing a service eccied out their skulls, and one of the chefs getting so fucked that he got caught shagging an uncooked turkey while all the other staff were in a meeting.
