Popular culture has taught me that the police stop the baddies, the police stopped these people ergo these people were baddies. You, and not me, are the one who has been indoctrinated.

Cunts on here showing less sympathy to the situation than priti Patel

25 years since Dunblane. I have a terrible memory but I was 8 at the time and can remember it vividly.
Our PM made a massive cunt of himself as per https://twitter.com/elliecrozier97/statu...1397823489

Did they get permission to do so given the lockdown?

They were in talks with the police I gather but politicians got involved in the discussions and they broke down. I've already mentioned earlier in the thread that I would not advocate orcehstrated state violence against anti-lockdown protests either, so its best to accept that we are in disagreement on this one. This isn't about me simping women.

So no now these people who could have waited perhaps until lockdown restrictions were eased (not that long) before holding a (police free) vigil. But now, theres a good chance that a virus hotspot was created tonight. And possibly result in deaths of innocent people of both sides of this. I dont even think Sarah or her family would wanted to have seen these scenes. Complicating an extremely delicate situation coming by face to face with the police. The police are far from innocent but this should not have happened the first place. Both sides could lose loved ones due to this. Kind of reeks of this -

I get that, and have no problem with them even defying the 'ban' on the official vigil. Tbh, it would be pretty unlucky if say as soon as they got there, just as they'd got to front row centre of the flowers they immediately got asked to leave. That's just so damned unlucky, like just utterly shite timing! But surely after explaining that that was the case they'd get let off with a caution, well I'd hope so anyway. Pretty cool photo to look back on too. As I said, bit of cat and mouse, I'd think, for some anyway.

I wouldnt worry too much about a corona hotspot from this though. Evidence suggests that most transmission is from indoor, poorly ventilated areas e.g. offices etc...the girls on screen were all wearing masks too. ideally they would be socially distanced. Maybe if the police didn't refuse the waiver as you say, this could've been socially distanced through stewarding.

Blanket it. Or let the Huns socially distance outside Parkhead ![]() Ive lost a relative and an old pal so far through this, who adhered as best they could to social distancing. Not getting in unnecessary crowds. In fact, my auntie was infirm and walked to the local shop once a day, if that and she got it. I wasnt allowed to go to any of their funerals. Its just annoying mate. Thats all. Sarah's time will come for her remembrance. Theres just a horrible mix of toxicity around it all just now and it isnt all about Sarah, which it should be. Almost like its been hijacked.

We can either take these cases and judge them on a context specific basis or we can truncheon people in the face. I'm sorry to hear about your personal struggles mate. The whole thing is scunnered like. I had a member of my family on a ventilator from covid and i've also not seen one family member in over a year. I hope you don't get any more bad news.
