A boy that plays in my Thursday game wears blades and takes someone out at least once a month as a result of them.

I definitely wouldn't wear them as they just look too risky on that type of turf, either for yourself or someone else.

I'm bad enough for accidentally catching people while wearing mouldies, that I dread to think what I'd do wearing blades.

A romanian guy used to play with us and would always moan his head off if anyone wearing studs caught him. I think that mouldies arent the done thing in Bucharest.

We had an Italian guy play with us and he must have lasted a month if that he did get a bad injury tbf but he hated the physical stuff like. I done him once when I was raging tbf just out of frustration.

Mizunos are probably the best quality togs you can buy like. Even the cheaper ones are on par with your top end Nike and Adidas boots.

I just take these things as they come to be honest, as long as you've not got someone out to deliberately “do you” then it's just part of the game.

I'm sure I've probably caught as many if not more people than I've been caught myself over the years.

tbf Mikey messaged me privately to say he would drop out, I'm going to play tonight then rest up to the start of November, it's my birthday next weekend anyway so was planning to be out on the sunday for food.
My back is fine just now but anticipating a flare up, once I'm recovered I plan to start both the gym in anticipation of preventing a Christmas belly

I prefer fives when it's six-a-side. Forces people to release the ball quicker.

Aye, ours tend to be better games, imo.

6's are much better less running as well.

I genuinely barely ever run when I play these days just shoot whenever I get even a glimpse of an opening.

He's been off most of teh last two months with, with, wait for it ... lower back pains! Bit of a theme going on here. He won't have the room tonight, and there's three ballers so see how that's split up/pans out.
