So true, even if you are on his team!!  Running around us/our team spread out in a circle. nobody going in the middle as was a waste of energy.  Tbh I'm surprised we only lost by six. lower calves are both tight af. gonna hurt the morn. Was actually a bit more competitive tonight, I dont normally kick folks but I did tonight. not entirely my fault I might add.

Aye, always been for our group. Find it's a great way to push the guilt aside from generally doing fuckall in the previous 9hrs of the day. Usually nicely tucked in between the late faternoon TV game and the main event at 7:45pm. Home, beer out the fridge and put your feet up and watch my boi Messi.

Have had two consecutive weeks of dreadful performances at 5s.   The sort of performance that leaves you questioning whether you owe it to everyone else to just stop playing.

At one point tonight I scored an OG from well outside the box (the guy in goals had done his hamstring and was barely mobile tbf   ).

I feel your pain, I played poorly tonight and my team got absolutely horsed too just to rub salt in my wounds.

Consistently hit the posts when shooting and I think my second touch more often than not ended up in a tackle or a complete loss of possession. Don't think I saved a thing when I took my turns in goal either.

I'm playing again on Thursday night, and if I play as poorly as I did tonight, I can see me investing in new boots to try and convince myself that it's them to blame and not just me being shit!

I was hopeless at the start of the season but got much better once I was playing regularly again. Also helped that I found a couple of casual low-level games so I was playing 2-3 times a week.  Once I got a goal in the league, I started getting goals regularly again thanks to the patented strategy of going in goals for the first half and running against tired defenders in the second. Who needs skill when you have stamina?

We nicked the last play-off spot despite a shocking start to the season, lost out in the first round but made a good game of it. Not bad for a team of misfits thrown together. I got roped into another team who needed an extra body against the league's top side, all Bosnians, who utterly demolished us. Just when I thought I was starting to find my feet in the league, I was brought back down to earth.
