Had an absolute nightmare at fives tonight.

One of they matches when every shot you hit is either miles wide or over or on the rare occasion you hit the target it's straight at the keeper. Every single pass was over cooked or completely under hit.

Two boys squared up to each other and had a bit of a dust up though, some top notch pushing and shoving and an attempted head butt, before they got split up.

Also means that my utterly dreadful performance will at least be forgotten about for a while.

Had a bit of chest bumping last Sunday (him coming onto me) after i put him down with a cheeky not quite shoulder to shoulder. Told him to calm the fuck down.  Was expecting it to kick off proper next time we came together (I braced for it with wide solid stance as he came in) but he refrained.  All good in the end and we kissed an made up. It really doesn't happen very often at all in our game.

Earlier this new guy probably late 20s but man mountain relatively athletic absolutely sent the oldest boy into orbit with a shoulder.   wasnae happy.

Could hazard a guess at the culprit there, pondy

Been there myself a few times at my Thursday night game, remember getting booted and then getting the feet taken from me in the corner, so I picked the ball up and bounced it square off the boys dial and then tried to shove him.

After it calmed down, one of my mates said it was the funniest thing he'd even seen as I had to reach up the way to try and push the other guy in the chest. Said it was like watching scrappy do.

We shook hands at the end and all was forgotten, but tonight was tasty, after they'd been split up, you could see both of them were launching into tackles with one another in the hope that they could go again for round two.

Both stormed off in opposite directions at full time, so will be interested to see who blinks first and drops out for next week.

We had a double-header (7s outdoor) the other night with the same ref in both games but apparently, the rules changed from one game to the next

Generally, slide tackles aren't supposed to be allowed but some wee cunt was launching into them in the first game so I assumed they were fair game. I win the ball cleanly with one but get pulled up for it while the guy I won the ball off acts like I murdered him. A few minutes later I outmuscle him to win the ball cleanly, again, and he boots the ground in frustration before following me around the pitch to bitch about the tackles. I just ed and got on with it. We ended up smashing them.

Yanks are such soft cunts when it comes to football.
