It's far too WWE now (and not in a good way). As soon as the fight is over, it's all abut the angle afterwards, just like Cormier v Lesnar a few weeks back.

Did McGregor not jump over the cage to try and square go aldo? Be a bit harsh to throw the book at khabib for doing it, even though Aldo's didn't end up serious it could've easily ended up like that.

Hopefully McGregor is done soon, quite liked him originally but he has taken everything way too far and he's just an arsehole. Delighted he got beat, did he ever look like winning?

What they should be doing is fining both fighters heavily and saying they'll never fight again, but no doubt Dana will have them at press conferences soon enough talking about it and the rematch will be made shortly.

This will go down as the night the UFC ate itself.

It's frustrating, as a lot of people in MMA have been putting a lot of effort into getting the sport and the athletes involved in it the recognition they deserve, then you have the most prestigious promotion in the sport descending into this kind of farce. Really disappointing from Khabib, but something like this was always going to happen in the end when McGregor was surrounded by enablers.

Tell you what, he can take some punishment. That second round, he basically spent 3 minutes getting smashed repeatedly in the pus. Looked good in the third and not bad in the fourth until the takedown.

It's all mcgregors fault tbh, khabib might've jumped over the cage but mcgregor created the hostile atmosphere etc. Thought he was taking a bit far as well how personal he got with him.

That's him lost something like the last 3 of his 4 fights, he should just be getting laughed at if he turns up again with his big dick swinging attitude he has. Think he should be fighting Aldo again, if he gets beat of Aldo he's finished.
