First game pushed to the Sunday now for TV.
Big deals it seems

My iPhone calendar updated automatically with the fixtures, presumably the Sky Sports app did it for me - now that's jammie wearing done right
![]() First five fixtures St Johnstone, Dundee, Ross County, Partick and Hamilton - welcome back to the big time

I hope some folk have had to fork out loads to change travel plans for the opener

Hope Foddy hasn't booked flights, that would be a shame

I just want to get something off of my chest for a second...
I live very close to Tynecastle so a fixture change isn't a big deal for me but I don't/won't attend matches on a Sunday. I was raised as a Latter Day Saint (Mormon) and Sunday was the day of worship. While I am no longer a person of faith (I'm a borderline anti-theist!) I still hold fast to certain principles...so I don't drink alcohol (haven't even tasted it), I don't smoke and I don't go to the football, the cinema or any other "entertainment" on a Sunday. I also like Saturday football...it feels, well, "proper". Nobody needs to reply to this or anything...I'm just a bit pissed off about missing the match because of a TV deal that, in large part, makes hee-haw difference to our financial position and even if it does the match could still be staged on a Saturday just at a different time. Thats fair enough Mozzer. I prefer my football on a Saturday too. But tbf its not like you've pied seeing your kids to watch Hearts and then moan that they hate you cause their mother has turned them against you
The Famous NLTF hhgh and all that

No smoking, no drinking and no entertainment on a Sunday? Sounds shite. But I don't see how going to a Hearts match goes against any of it?

Being even a little religious sounds complete and utter shite.
Not going to the football because of made up shite

I think the reason I still don't go on a Sunday even though I have no faith now (as I said before I'm very nearly in Hitchens "anti-theist" camp) is because of a respect for my dad who is still a man of faith and because I have always enjoyed being wilfully contrary and obtuse! Usually when Mozzer pops up with a rare and lengthy post, it's pretty entertaining.
What a shame
