If you fancy 9 hours of folk walking across fields with the occasional OTT CGI battle, crack on with LotR. Watched them all as a youngster but you couldn't pay me to watch the Hobbit films.

First rambo is good, and the second and third are good but silly. Rocky 1, 3 and 4 are worth a watch if they're on the telly.

Lord of the Rings/Hobbit basically involve someone getting given something and being told to take it somewhere and then there's a battle.

Star Wars is good but you're not missing anything not seeing them.
