Just brilliant, loved it. Visually stunning, Roger Deakins must surely get at least a nomination. Great flipping of the story from the original too. Soundtrack was lush too.

Yet to see Hoffman's Capote film but according to the some reviewers they thought Toby Jones' performance superior.
Didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised.

Billy Connolly's hypocritical sycophancy through the week whilst accepting the royal boaby meant i jumped at the chance to watch him do so in celluloid form when Mrs Brown showed up on iplayer. It's decent as i'd expected. What i hadn't expected was to see a young Gerard Butler popping up playing the big yin's wee brother.

Need help tracking down a horror film for the burd. She's convinced she's watched it numerous times, but doesn't know the name. This is how she describes it;
"A group of 8-12 people go on a trip for a weekend in a forest. They have whistles - possibly orienteering. They have to compete in games against each other and then people start dying. There's a caravan/camper van that people die in."
I'm sure she's describing Wrong Turn and just adding bits in that she thinks are there but actually aren't. She's convinced it isn't.

Nevermind, it's Wrong Turn 2, she's found it.
well that certainly looks like a lovely film based on the google image results
Murder on the Orient Express - All star cast fails to deliver the goods although Kenneth Brannaghs portrayal of Poirot was the most entertaining part of the movie,
New Thor: pretty good. About 95% played for laughs, which is nice to see from a daft superhero film. Chris Hemsworth may be the most beautiful man I've ever seen.
