Not any different from sitting watching tele tbh. I watch a few fitness youtubers for advice and shit, a few 'lifestyle' vloggers like Jon Olsson and Casey Neistat who are ridiculous at what they do and a channel called h3h3 where they just fucking destroy any shit thats on youtube/the internet.

Found since I got into youtube I basically never put the tv on.

There's a laddie called KSI who just makes stupid racist jokes about himself, and made videos of him screaming whilst playing Fifa. Wee 12 year olds loved him and now he's a multi millionaire with about 3 Lamborghinis and a penthouse apartment in the centre of London.

You can absolutely take it in if you find the right audience on youtube.

I think there is now a middle ground where folk are busting a nut for not a huge amount of reward, but just managing to keep it full time. This guy I was reading was apparently a very popular streamer and youtuber (folk posting on the thread knew who he was) and he was having to get ridic amounts of views etc just to make a half decent wage. Definitely no Lamborghini as far as I could tell I'll maybe try and find the post if I can, as it was really interesting to see the breakdown of how he gets his money from YouTube and Twitch etc.

Yeah one of the replies on that thread mentioned that. Even being hosted on sites with streamers who have been done for it is enough for you to get your ad revenue pulled apparently.
