100% not that I'd ever even consider it but saw an advert on Facebook for the Brewdog investment / equity crowdfunding pish
Am I right in saying as they're not a publicly traded company this 'equity' you're buying only entitles you to some bonus perks based on what you invest but unless they do float on the stock market you can't actually sell your investment or don't get a dividend and are effectively funding the expansion of their business so the folk that own it can get more profits for themselves? If I'm right what sort of fuckwit would consider it worthwhile

Used to work with a boy who said that every time he went to a new city, he felt the need to visit every Brewdog pub there, so he could tick them off his list. ![]() He was one of they “Equity Punks†and used to get a proper hard on for going to the AGM every year. Unsurprisingly he looked very much like the guys in the YouTube clip above.

True. I think your understanding of it is correct AFAIK Groot.

So it's a glorified Go Fund Me with perks worth approx 10% of your investment, most of which require you to pay them more money anyway (free meals % off drinks etc)
Wonder if Lawson's sister knows how to brew beer, although with the soul midwifery she probably prefers spirits

Think it's just a bit like the foundation of hearts for a pub but you get a big free piss up once a year in Aberdeen.
Heard a few people say it's quite good.

You'd imagine they will float at some point in the future and people that got in early could make some cash.

Punk IPA is directly responsible for every pub I go into having some grapefruit flavoured shite on draft instead of a good honest British ale ![]() *Disclaimer: 5am Saint is a great beer and I'd have no issue with them if they'd made that their flagship

Don't normally drink Brewdog gear but I had cans of the “lost lager†on Saturdays and it was

The Lost Lager is decent :
