Nothing wrong with a solo meal/coffee/pint imo. Sitting there staring into space looks a bit sad tbf, but if you've got a book / work with you it's quite nice.

In my weaker moments over the past fifteen months of Acey Jnr's life, I would've killed for two hours' worth of solo sitting with a coffee/beer in a piazza of any major European city.

I love sitting on my own having a pint but yes, those days are gone
Used to enjoy a pint by myself after work before heading home. Nice place to shift gears. Couldn't sit and get smashed by myself though, that's pretty sad. A proper sit down meal or the cinema by yourself is pretty is a line I've never crossed and hopefully never will.
I've always quite liked the idea of the cinema myself but anytime it's come to it it seems really desperate and lonely, each to their own and all that.
Solo pints are good though, used to enjoy them whenever I finished early from work before I went home or met people.
