Thinking that we should maybe get out of the house until it's cleared.

Srsly tho if you've got the windows open and that it should only take 25 minutes max to clear. Just keep the kitchen door closed.

Hopefully any explosion would be localised within the kitchen, only killing you. Sound

That's unusually benevolent of you, Acey Laugh

Frank, if you are concerned by the revelation that I wish maiming and death on fellow human beings, you haven't been paying much attention. This is me at my happiest Cool

I had heard that the only way to stop gas filling a space was to close a door. That's science for you bitches.

I like you Morph, You're clearly a good guy. But giving out advice on when to vacate a property that's filled with gas probably isn't your subject.

m8 he's left the hob on his cooker on for a bit, he's not got a full on gas leak. It's fairly common knowledge that you open the windows in the kitchen and the room directly adjacent and close the kitchen door to stop the spread as much as possible.

If it was strong as fuck he shouldve left it longer/left the house if it was just a wee bit 25/30 minutes shouldve seen him fine.

Saurce: left the cooker gas on loads of times when pished - still not dead.

Only a true PHM/PTHFM would come on here for advice on how to save his kids from a possible gas related explosion.

I don't remember "he's left the hob on for a bit, not a full on gas leak" appearing in my last gas exam. Fwiw m8, leaving the gas on's everybit as dangerous as most leaks. The explosion in Callander last year was caused by the old boy leaving his hob on over night. If only he'd known to open the window for 25 minutes.
