Yeah, stop being so nippy Daesh
![]() On another note, the festive season has really highlighted how thin Sky Sports' coverage is now. They've pretty much had no Premier League games and they're currently showing the same Championship game on both SS5 and SS1. Pissed huge amounts of money on their very limited Premier League deal, then sign up Henry to analyse the few games they get now ![]() They're struggling big time for football coverage. All they've really got left is some Premiership, the Championship/Football League and La Liga.

Yup, Sky have regularly had to stick the same game on two different channels lately. Bit embarrassing.
Although obviously not of much interest to most people, when they pie any mentions of Scottish football in their adverts and reviews etc it just makes me hate them more and more. Really hope they come crashing down one day. ![]()

After the big fanfare for SS5, it's basically now a channel for duplicating coverage. Why they don't actually try to market Scottish football at this point is a mystery - they don't have much else anyway.

I'd like to see a breakdown of the money they give to each sport, league etc. For example how much do they give the MLS or NFL in comparison to the SPFL.
Not sure if such info is freely available, though. I imagine the SPFL gets less back as a percentage than what Scottish-based subscribers contribute, like with the BBC, although then there's the old viewers/interest argument. ![]()

Viewing figures for some of the other leagues would be interesting as well - who is watching Eredevisie and MLS, for example? I watch the MLS occasionally, but there isn't really a programme for it as such. It just has the TV package with a commentator, so can't be costing them a lot to broadcast.

Sky have put all their eggs in one basket with the joke amount they chuck at the EPL. BT have seized the chance and just absolutely destroyed them.
Hope they are permanently fucked.

How much are BT and Sky paying for their Premier League deals? It seems BT are now getting just about as many games, but far bigger ones.

Bit weird. What kind of oddball checks a new reserve team signing's tweets from two years ago? And why would the fact he hasn't always supported Barca matter a fuck in terms of whether or not he's worth signing?
