The Malky Mackay redemption story is going to be a stain on Scottish football like, choking on them getting relegated and him being turfed out never to be seen again but there's clearly plenty folk within Scottish football that want to keep giving him a chance and will buy all this nonsense.

He's done his time. He got caught if everyone got caught and their private texts exposed then there would be no football managers left. There will be a lot more sinister things gone on with respected people than a few dodgy text messages.

I'm broadly supportive of giving guys a second chance eventually but as far as I'm aware he's not offered much in the way of a genuine apology and hasn't really suffered any consequences at all. |
