I'd have Mcburnie in the squad before the Shank and Burke, and I don't even rate Mcburnie. great chance for a Nesbit (
) to make the squad.

We could even go with just shree strikers if there's nobody good enough, no point just taking folk for the sake of it.

There will be plenty injuries and losses of form between now and next June. As long as the big players like mcgregor, Jack, Christie and dykes stay fit then there's others who can slot in around them

I think Gallagher is a must for the Euros, other defenders either side can probably be interchangeable but him being in the middle of the 3 is massive.

Don't be daft. He got us our promotion in the nations league with a hat-trick and he's the only boy outside Fraser with real pace. If you don't want to take him to the euros then ok, but this "NO SUPRISE WE HAVE BEEN GOOD SINCE FORREST GOT INJURED" is the worst take ever. The harsh reality is that we probably have to bin Considine Mclean Paterson because they aren't that good. Even though they are tremendous guys. McBurnie should be the first out the door. Pish player but Clarke is in love for some reason. Griffiths will end up kicking his heels at home while this no socked cunt runs about liked a heedless chicken.

I think naismith will come in to contention, his experience will be massive and the fact he can play a couple positions.

We're seeing the power of taking Scottish-based players who would die for the jersey. I'd have Dykes and Griffiths as the two guaranteed strikers we take, then leave a slot open for the top scoring Scottish striker in Scotland. Big gauntlet to say to Shankland, Nesbit or whoever else that if they hit 20 goals they're in.
Unfortunately the style we play means you need a backup big man to Dykes so McBurnie probably has to go unless some other battering ram puts their hand up over the next 6 months (bah gawd that's Craig Wighton's music notwithstanding).

Is Hornby not like 6foot 5 or something. If he starts to do the business in France I can see him having a look in

Shankland has been pretty quiet this season. I'd have thought Nesbit would be ahead of him based on league form, but the less squad changes the better for me.
As for Forrest, we've done very well without him, but his experience and quality, even if it's only from the bench, will be very useful.

i like Palmer but he can be binned if Clarke uses C Pats as both an understudy right back and an understudy target man. You can then drop both Palmer and mcburnie which frees up space for good lads like fleck, considine etc..

Also I really didn't expect Hickey to be starting games regularly in Serie A as a wing back. Isn't he right footed?

Gave me the fear when he came on the other night.
