It gets reviewed every 3 weeks so potentially end of June, I'd expect?

Hopefully the site goes back up soon so I can get a look at the Education Recovery Group document. Sounds like the right thing to do to have us in prepping the learning spaces and courses for blended learning, but we didn't get much in the way of detail in the announcement.

There's a good chance I'll be going back in phase 1 but won't have any work to do until phase 3 Laugh

Our work relies around supporting others so not sure if they'll get us back in anyway because we can't wfh. Will need to wait and see, is phase 1 likely to be next week?

Phase 1 starts a week today.

I know the government made mistakes at the start of this but the difference in communication between this and Johnson's shit show of a speech is incredible.

Did they not say they'll announce changes to the rules a week today to take effect from the start of June? Surely we're not completely in the lockdown phase but somewhere in between that and phase 1.

Think Holyrood has some big questions to answer around the care homes after this but just now I trust them to actually put things into place to stop it ever happening again.

I think care homes need to be nationalised and brought into the NHS

Can't see my work going back to normal anytime soon. Might extend the type repairs we'll be doing but the contracts work will be done for most of the year I'd think

I was expecting to be in late July/early August as that seems the most sensible thing to do but I get the feeling they might have us back in as soon as they can.

It's a complete waste of money though, they'd be better keeping us on furlough for as long as possible/as close to the new academic year.

Are you in and out peoples houses just now Benoit?

I won't be back in the office anytime soon, no need for it when everyone's able to work as normal at home. Think this is likely to be the new normal for a long time at my work.

There's absolute fannies giving it 'is just no the same as Boris said last week? She's just being contrary and playing party politics'. Just listening to her, for five minutes, makes it abundantly clear why its different.

Emergencies only. Basically knock on the door and find out what's up and send them to another room while I do the work. Got all the PPE for working in houses where folk have symptoms or have an underlying condition that puts them at risk. Only had a couple of the latter so far.

Off until the 8th June just now, got 3 guys in daytime during the week and another 2 doing weekends and evenings and that's covering everything. Full pay to play Minecraft with the kids  Monty Chuckle
