I dunno about Asda but at Sainsbury's the tills seem to deny bulk buying because I heard one of the checkout folk having a bit of an argument saying even if they wanted to they couldn't put something through.  Not sure what it was

Really getting a sense of people's priorities during this. Got a group chat where some of them are worried about their families, sure, but what's actually bothering a few of them is the stock market. I get it, their pensions or investments are tied in to it but fuck me man, is money/a stock portfolio really the first thing you think of when they all have elderly relatives who are at major risk?

Yeah, I don't understand the bog roll thing - not like diarrhoea is a symptom Just got to hope that when people get the extent to which this is for the long haul (i.e. you don't just get to stock up for a few weeks until it blows over), and supply lines aren't affected (assuming supply lines don't end up being affected ) the panic buying aspect of all this will blow over.
