I think it’s maybe just a couple of weeks too early to be starting Hoff and Taylor or they’d both be in. Devlin being out probably forced the lineup too, would rather have seen Vargas start over Shankland and have a proper front 3 with Wilson in the middle, would either stop their fullbacks pushing up or leave us with lots of gaps on the counter. If Shankland does his usual floating around doing fuck all we’ll get overrun

I’m hoping that Shankland decided to have a go today rather than just wandering about, got to hope that if he does decide to just go floating around that Critchley isn’t shy of giving him the hook.
