We are being softened up by hearts friendly media that a domestic appointment is likely. Which I think can only mean Mcglynn or Valikari, neither is particularly inspiring.

If it’s one of those two then we are set for fighting it out for a top 6 place and will likely be looking for another manager next year.

If we’re even considering anyone currently managing in Scotland, it says to me that the club have been caught completely off guard here and the ambitions for next season have been hugely pared back to scrapping with Aberdeen and Hibs for 3rd-6th while we work out what the fuck’s going on.

From being so high with a couple mins to go versus Falkirk to seemingly managing to plumb new depths every week.

McGlynn is the only good manager we could get from our league, but I think Falkirk is his ceiling. Nobody else comes to mind, and I don't think there are any up-and-coming managers from the lower leagues worth considering.

The nightmare scenario is another English no-mark coach coming in and undoing all the progress made. It has to be someone who can inspire a strong team mentality while working within the system we have in place. Basically, a more tactically courageous and progressive McInnes without the hun sympathies. Should be easy to find

Is that someone like Alexander Blessin or Eirik Horneland? Quite up for some maverick European coach ready to come in and shake up Scottish football.

Mcglynn is the only manager I’d be interested in from Scotland.

Even then I think we probably want to look to be a bit more ambitious but if he’s a top candidate for JTA then happy days.

I disagree. It’s a clean slate of the Glasgow clique. If they don’t want to be here then off you pop and we’ll get a new bunch in. We’ve never been in as good a position as we are right now. Get excited by it.
