Usually end up reading my phone, like a proper THM. Depends where I go, might just stand at the bar, might take a book or a paper. If I had a day off on my todd, would enjoy taking a paper and a book for an afternoon in the boozer. Can't remember the last time I did that though.

Sitting at the bar is an obvious way to show you're alone. Got a bar in town I frequent with friends and we've got pally with the staff. Don't mind going in there and just sitting at the bar. Get a bit of chat from them when they're not busy, and can sit on my phone without looking weird. Only done it a couple of times though. My solo pints are usually solo lunches when I'm working. I'll sometimes pop into the place I luncheon for a pint as well. Always with a prop book.

That's not what I said.
Everyone knows what the election results are because (almost) everyone will be talking about them and they'll be impossible to escape the morning after on the TV, the radio and the papers.
Don't think Jeremy Clarkson is covered in the same way.

Why is it a prop book? You can't be that allergic to reading, surely?

Nah I do read, and it's the book that I'm reading. But I spend more time on my phone than I do reading it so it becomes more a prop. Especially when I go for lunch and I'm eating too. Ain't got time to read.

The only couple we (my Mrs on Facebook) have kept in touch with is Adam Johnsons aunty.
She was probably about 10 year older than me but tidy in a dirty sort of way and tbf her and her fella were good banter. Â She was also easy about getting her fun bags out at the pool which made for great viewing as I enjoyed my mid morning solero.

i was away to amsterdam last month and didn't have time to hit the barbers so took the top line of my mauser and thought i'd take a bit off the sides of my beard, i duly pushed the shaver right into my cheek and took a huge chunk out my beard. Â had no option but to take the entire thing off but kept a big moustache ala charles bronson and sent a pic to the missus saying i was keeping it
thought about the consquences of walking about the dam with a handlebar mauser and took it right off
