I was struck last night by the response of the team when the fans got behind them, and hard as it undoubtedly is, I do believe that to get through these times, we do have to stick with the players and give them as much backing from the stands as we can. We know that this is a period of transition with a new coach and a transfer window coming up, but for those 90 minutes, it’s down to the players we have right now on the pitch. And right now, if we can stay united and back them, it’s my opinion that this would be beneficial all round. Not easy, I know, but we are Hearts fans, and Hearts fans - for those 90 minutes – can unite behind the players and help to make a difference.

Today, we are all hurting, probably angry too. Nobody is shirking away from that. I hope, though, that together we can play a positive role, back the team, and stay united to shape a more hopeful future.

Tbh he probably is right we’re stuck with what we’ve got at this point so no really any point in booing and abusing the players during the 90 as it’s not going to help them win a game of football.

At some point you have to accept that supporting the people that run the club is hurting the club.

The fans need to come together, on this Mr Mallon is correct, but we need to come together to remove the people who've delivered something between underperformance and abject failure.

If the FOH are propping up the board of hearts then they're an enemy of the club.

They've clearly had a lot of pledges binned off after last night, it can be the only reason they've sent that email out, which is reassuring in a way.

Nah you’re right, starting with Dear Owner is the worst patter.

Everyone knows who makes the decisions and it’s not anyone paying into FoH, does this guy get paid for working with the FoH? If so it’s clear he’s trying to save his own bacon.

At the very least he should have come out and condoned that performance and assured fans that there will be massive improvements in performance and a squad overhaul in January.
