If this allows Ross Callachan to realise his true calling as a fitness instructor/Herbalife baron then that's a win.
Edwards is an average player who'll do ok against bottom six sides and maybe has some potential. He's more squad filler, but it'll mean we can conserve The Highland Cow for bigger games. The bigger first team signings will arrive later in the summer, I'm actually surprised we're this far ahead with transfers already.

Lets hope so. That was the one saving grace last year that we knew what we were getting with Berra and Lafferty. Knew they'd be good signing. Even Cathro couldn't have fucked them up. Hope all these so far are filler and there is more assured quality coming in later
The only positive is at least there seems to be some strategy behind this.
Levein has identified players he will think will work for him and went and got them, as opposed to the last minute scatter-gun.
I think the results will be better next season but the football will be worse (if that's possible).

I was indeed. Discovered them around 2004 along with Green Day and Blink 182 and listened to that kind of music ever since
When I was in P5 we changed the lyrics of American Idiot and entered into the school talent show. I played a few notes on a guitar very badly and my friend spoke the lyrics. I dressed like billie joe for the occasion too

The thing that bothers me about the prospect of Levein gathering players to be parts of his team jigsaw is that most of the time he's been here the jigsaw's had pieces missing.
His thinking appears to be such a throwback that I wouldn't be surprised if it was right back to his primary school days. When his jigsaws will've had about 4 pieces. Does he know he needs 11+ now?

Yeah, struggling to follow this logic. Surely if we were properly skint we'd be relying on the wee kids (begbie) and putting the entire playing budget into Lafferty and/or Naismith.
