Felt like my feet were about a full second behind my brain, I was never a particularly technical player at the best of times but this was quite something. Pitched straight into a league game of sevens after well over a year of absolutely no football. I scored a diving header GodIsGod

& a volley with my weaker foot but I was laughably bad aside from that. The standard's pish though so should be alright in a few weeks. No fitness issues at least.

How'd everyone else's first games back go?

How'd everyone else's first games back go?

My first game back was the day after I got my first vaccine, so I felt as if I was playing in a bit of a brain fog or with a hangover. Wasn't my best game as I felt as if I had the wrong boots on the wrong feet. Laugh

Played again last week and was better, although my shooting is still all over the place. Crowe

Hoping for better things tonight.

Got back to it on Monday. First 10 minutes or so was like I'd never kicked a ball in my life, every pass was either straight to the opposition or about 5 yards too short. Picked up after that and did OK, barely even got a break to go in goals cos everyone else was so fucked too Warnock
