Clarke was the only guy who had real offers on the table from dann saff. He’s prime candidate to be the bad egg and was rumoured by various sources. shanks and Shander are thick as thieves with Kent trying to join in and failing miserably

Did we ever find out what offers we actually had on the table for Clark? Can’t remember who was in for him tbh so could be wrong but doubt he had a better offer in a footballing sense than his current gig. Maybe get a backup gig lower half of the championship that would pay better but where’s he going as number one?

I remember him being seen as solid signing and it probably being more confusing why he wasn’t signed up already? He fucked it thinking an English team was coming in for him, they didn’t and we got him as quite a coup considering the situation?

Within 6 months he was our no. 1 and being good at it.

He finished at St Johnstone as a double cup winner and couldn’t find a club until well into the new season. That tells me that he’s not as good as he thinks he is or that he’s potentially a bad egg.

I’m inclined to think it’s the former, but given the chat about what’s going on behind closed doors, it could be that he’s a wrong ‘ un.

Since then, the dressing room is a mess
Barry McKay has absolutely chucked it and actually refused to play in a game v Celtic which is why he has been disappeared.

I only ever remember Blackburn Rovers being linked, but definitely no concrete offers. I also remember plenty on here saying we should cash in if an offer was made too.

His time has come, I'm afraid

He's still a good shot-stopper, but he's bereft of the confidence needed to come off his line (never his strong suit); it might be lingering memories of the injury or just plain old age, but he's just not commanding his box, and it's costing us.

I have no knowledge of what's going on with Clark(there's no fucking e in his name), but I'm fine with him seeing the season out and moving on if need be. That said, if he does go to Hibs, he can rot in the reserves. I was never his biggest fan, but he got dropped for less than what Craig has been doing recently.

It's not going to happen for Stone, and Fulton was signed as third choice so we might need to rely on The Process™® to unearth a new keeper in January.

Sorry, i grew up with old yeller being my favourite player. I’d make a solid argument for him being the best Hearts player of all time and being in the top Scotland players of all time, definitely best keeper. However, our starting lineup isn’t:

There is probably a reason that isn’t the case, just an idea
