Sad to see how frustrated you're getting at being unable to express yourself clearly or succinctly enough. Just take a wee moment. Collect your thoughts. Use your words. Ok, so when you were standing in Robbos, singing "Edinburgh is Wonderful", you weren't being at all racist?

Made me feel entirely uncomfortable to the extent myself and a friend had to leave.

Evening News reporting the Scottish Parliament building at Holyrood could be not fit for purpose by 2060. The News is a rag these days so I've not idea how accurate that is but if it turns out to be true.

Always thought Donaldson's deaf school could potentially have been used instead and would've made a far better building. It wasn't fit for purpose for years, even before it was bought by Cala in 2003. I'm sure a refurb would've cost far less than Holyrood did.

It is an absolute monstocity and should never have been built in the first place. As you say, Donaldsons was sold around the same time it was built for c£15m.

It's tacky and rank and not surprised to hear it has a short life span.

Agreed. The building itself looks shit and because of the materials used, it looks even worse. It's filthy because of pollution.

I look at Donaldson's and think it could've been our Stormont. Call me a traditionalist but it's how a parliament building should look.

Admittedly I've no idea how much a refurb would've cost but I'd have thought far less than the £500m or whatever Holyrood cost. There's plenty room for a purpose built chamber either in the courtyard or at the back of the building.

It will be totally wasted as housing and as you say, what we've got is a terrible parliament building, which in under 50 years might not be fit for purpose. On top of that, even if Holyrood had been the real thing as a building, pretty much everyone's overriding memory of it will be how much over budget t ended up.

All those who hold extreme views. I made this clearly when I stated this. If you used the quote function then this would a lot easier 



And by numerous studies by various groups the % who hold these types of extreme views is around 20-25%.

So when people talk about a tiny minority. They are very wrong. It's a lot of people. And we should be concerned.

I have no issue with the majority of decent Muslims on an individual level. I have a few Muslim pals I've  a known for ages through work and they  are sound. I don't think they want to kill me.



I have issue with the religion as a whole and those that use it for their savage goals.

I spent 6 weeks last year in a Muslim country. Why would I do that if I have a problem with brown people and Muslims in general ? 

I have a problem with the ones that want to destroy our way of life. What's unreasonable or strange about that ? Seems entirely rational to me.
